IBM's April 28, 2009 stock repurchase announcement prompted the IBM stock sales of IBM Board of Director members Cathleen P. Black and Kenneth Chenault on April 30, 2009 ??? Has anyone heard of Martha Stewart ?
Earlier sales in 2008 and 2009 by Palmisano, Loughridge, and Kelly-3 were not so blatant, lock-step, and obvious as Black's and Chenault's. Nonetheless, Palmisano's & companions' IBM stock sales were timed to catch a market bounce based on insider foreknowledge not available to the general public. The release of those announcements are under the control of high execs who are then benefitting from the timing.
